A. Lunascape saves the state each time it is closed, and restores the last state when it is started. But in the case that this saved state file is broken, Lunascape will automatically close by an error during the startup. You can fix that error by deleting the saved state file in the following steps.
[Caution!] This step erases a part of "Registry" which is the file that saves the setting of the entire system. This means if you make any mistake while erasing it, a fatal error may occur in Windows. Please be careful during the step. You are responsible for your own action and we cannot take any responsibility in that case. If you are worried about taking that step, it will be safer for you to uninstall the program and re-install it. In that case, we will suggest you to take a back up of the Favorites file.
A. Lunascape uses a part of Internet Explorer in the default settings to render a Web page. Most of Web sites in the world are made for Internet Explorer, so it can show most web pages without any corruption. On the other hand, browsers like Netscape/FireFox/Mozilla use a component called the Gecko engine to show a Web site. Some sites are made for Gecko engine(usually written "for Netscape"). Lunascape can use both Internet Explorer and the Gecko engine to show Web sites so that users can switch engines depending on pages.
A. Depending on your network setting in your Windows, it might fail to download and install the Gecko engine. In this case, please download and install an official version of the full installer, which contains the Gecko engine from the beginning.

A. With search bar, by adding the search engine from Web, you can perform the search using the search bar, instead of going to that site each time. You can add new search menu by adding search engine to "Search Engine" folder in the setting tree. (But the URL you have to add is not the domain of the search page. For example, if you want to add Google search, you have to add as "http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=" instead of just "http://www.google.com". This URL will be seen in the address bar when you perform a search with that site.)
