Post subject:  Several Issues that I have encountered, Need set up help too

Hi Sarah! (*and anybody else too!!!),

Here is my issues...
I have to login at every site I normally never had to log in at every single time... annoying. Same thing here too.

How do I set up Gecko as my permenant default browser? I find it is the most "forgiving" and works the best. But LS always logs into Trident because I did not know about the set up by leaving it the default. Do I have to re-install??? I just got my buttons and setting the perfect way I want them and it was a job to do so. Is there a way to save my settings???

Lastly the feed settings do not "stick". You set up how you want it and it just goes back to how it was originally. Plus it feeds the same thing over and over, it doesn't update well.

ThanX for the assistance!!!
Ariana

Hi Ariana_FFD,

Thank you for using Lunasapce.
At first, about changing the default engine, there are few ways to do so.

-From the rendering engine selection button in the address bar.
1.Right-Click on the rendering engine selection button to open up a menu
2.Select Change Default Engine
3.Select a default engine and click select

You can also set from Lunascape Settings or from Engine Icon in the left bottom corner. For details, please refer our help file.
http://help.lunascape.tv/LunascapeHelp- ... ult_engine

For the RSS feeds set-up, please tell us which RSS feed you are mentioning. There are three ways to dipsplay them. 1) Side Bar display, 2)feed bar display, 3)ticker display at the top right hand corner.

You can also refer our help file: http://help.lunascape.tv/LunascapeHelp- ... pageid=rss

Finally, the issue on the requiring Log In, have you been saving your passwords in Gecko engine? If so, could you check if the passwords have been saved in the following location?

Lunascape Settings>Rendering Engine>Gecko>Gecko Options>Security>Saved Passwords

If you have been using other engines, please tell us the rendering engine you have problem with and the detail site information that you are asked to log in.
Thanks!

Hello!
ThanX so much... I did end up removing LS and reinstalling it. It did remember my favs and also after selecting the Gecko as my default it did allow my passwords to be set and stay at site(s)! So very happy now! Already I have told 9 people about LS and they are going to try it out!

I actually found where to fix the RSS feeds... and I will update you if it does not work. ;) Embarrassingly I found everything on the "Help" portion of the LS links! So my apologies for being anxious. Learning a new browser is always stressful. You want it now and well I jumped the gun. Sorry!

Here is a screen shot of my sweet and very trim homepage! I like to log into google, and I now have it set up as I want it and am so happy!!!

I did have one concern and that is security... could you update me on how that is working? ThanX!!!

Ariana

Well originally my concern was the browser security, and if it was secure. NOW!!! It is so secure that I cannot log on to my broker sites! It gives me a warning that the site has no security it can verify... (*I have brokered there for 6 years! And if I try to amend or upload a new product it stops the process and freezes up! This is the first REAL disturbing issue I have encountered. The store in question is Content Paradise, has been around forever and sells Poser/Manga/and other software. It did give me a pop up to allow this as an exception, but it just will not work.

Please help me as this weekend i have to upload to 3 stores!

Hi Ariana,

I've tried the site, and yes it does say the site has an expired certificate. But as you say, the Lunascape shows you an exception window. Once you accept it (make sure you select the check box at the bottom saying "permanently...."), you should not get the warning afterwords...

You can also ease your security level by going the Lunascape Settings > Rendering Engines > Gecko > Gecko options... In the Gecko options window, go to Security and click the "Settings" under the "Warning Messages". You can un-check every options there.
