Acutally, we have been experiencing spam posting activities and we have decided to increase the level of difficulty of on the visual codes. Its only been a few days since our attempt but it seems to be working.

We apologize for the inconveniences this have caused, but we'd like to keep a watch for little while before we may decide to reduce the difficulty level.

I am not opposed to using the confirmation code, I needed to. What I am claiming is that the code is bad readability making reading / typing dozens of times incorrect. Several other sites use this feature but are not as garbled as this

Since we have not observed spam activity recently, we have decided to degrade the difficulty of the visual confirmation.
We need to consider the balance of increase in potential spam activity vs burden on users.
We continue to be alert on the anti-spam measures, and thank you very much for bearing with us on this.

Regarding the other issue you have suggested, thank you for that too.
We are considering intoroduction of user registration system, potentially very soon.
In the mean time we have decided not to openly spread the word.
We hope to have your understanding on this too.
