Lunascape Support Forum

Users are unable to add posts or reply to posts in this Lunascape forum when using WebKit engine because they cannot see the confirmation code image:

Steps to reproduce problem:
1. Use Lunascape6 with WebKit to view this Lunascape forum
2. Try to add a post with "New Topic" or reply to a post with "Post Reply"

What is the expected result?
To be able to see the confirmation code image in the form so that I can type it in

What happens instead?
For WebKit engine only, the confirmation code image just shows a question mark inside a blue square.

System details:
Lunascape Core Version 6.0.3.20663 / Unicode
Operating System Version 5.1.2600
Internet Explorer Version 8.0.6001.18702
--> only happens for WebKit engine only

Thank you for reporting the problem.

Unfortunately, we cannot reproduce it. In fact, I'm using the Webkit engine to reply this to you. Do you think if there are any other factor that might be affecting the image of confirmation code in your env.?

I do not have this problem with another computer with a fresh install of Lunascape 6.0.3

I will try to investigate why this computer still has the problem.....

The problem turned out to be some kind of upgrade issue. However, I don't know from which version; either from Lunascape 5.x to 6.0.3, or from 6.0.1 to 6.0.3. I only noticed the problem in 6.0.3.

After completely uninstalling the Lunascape 6.0.3 from my computer, deleting all my profile data, and reinstalling 6.0.3, I am now able to see the confirmation image in the forum and make this reply with Lunascape6 in WebKit.

Thanks for your quick turnout.

I'm aware of some cases that users encounter an CPU capacity issue after upgrading lunascape from v5.x to v6.0.x. due to co-existence of both v5.x and v6.0.x, but I've not heard of similar case as yours.

We'll see if we can reproduce the issue by upgrading one another.
