Am posting this here and not in the add-on forum because there seems to be no activity in that forum.

I am trying out the features of Lunascape and for the most part I like it because of the ability to change rendering engines. However, the add-ons that are available for Firefox is one of the reasons, among others, that I use that browser and not IE or chrome. This for me is extremely important and I would like to know the following: is there a way of using Firefox add-ons in Lunascape when using the Gecko rendering engine ? Two of the handiest add-ons are speed dial and read it later. I went to the Firefox add-on page, but could find no way, either on that page or in Lunascape to install them. The Lunascape add-on page has only one add-on - for twitter. Any help or information would be very helpful.

TIA

Df

Dear Desertfox46,

We have been considering the development need of extensions.
This would probably require some more time, but please stay tuned.

best regards,

PS:
We have observed that some flash related plug-in should work, but not so much for the add-ons.

Hi there,

YES, you can use most of the Firefox add-ons available with Lunascape Gecko engine.
For its details, pls refer to http://help.lunascape.tv/LunascapeHelp- ... id=add-ons.

Thanks,

@BinhDT,

If you have a specific add-on/toolbar you'd like to install, go to the site while your default engine is changed to Trident. If you'd like to browse through a list of the IE Add-ons, you can go to their gallery (http://www.ieaddons.com/en/) using Lunascape with Trident and proceed steps. Once successfully complete the installation, go to View > Toolbars and click the one you've just installed, so that it will show up in your toolbar area (a show-up place might be different depending on Add-ons).

For Webkit, you'll need a lunascape add-on (for Webkit) if you'd like to have one.

Hope this will help.
