I just installed Lunascape 6.4.4. The bug described here is still persistent in this new version.
Steps I did to reproduce:
- Uninstalled the previously installed Lunascape. I let Lunascape delete the profile folder and the favourites.
- Installed Lunascape as portable in a directory off the Windows Program folder.
- Lunascape NOT set as default browser.
- Selected Gecko as default rendering engine.
- Did NOT import any favourites.
- Opened Google website with a different language than the one from Lunascape.
In my case I called www.google.co.jp on a German Lunascape. - Saved to the favourites after the page has been fully loaded.
This way the "No locale is found" message is showed in the status bar when hovering with the mouse cursor over the saved link in the favourites from the menu bar. It is not showed when hovering over the same link in the favourites from the side bar.
I am not sure if all steps provided are really necessary. It's just what I did.
It is only the first saved link that shows this message. If I add www.google.cn as the second favourite then this one is ok.
When I delete both added google links and add just the one from .cn then the message is also showed.
