I am trying to get the the following FireFox add-ons to work in Lunascape but they never show up in the tools menu, context menu or as an icon on any toolbar.

"Evernote Web Clipper 4.0.0.144406" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/evernote-web-clipper/)

"ScrapBook 1.4.5" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/scrapbook/)

Both work correctly in FireFox.

What do I need to do in order to make these add-ons work with Lunascape?

Thanks,

Eric

Hi EricB,

Thanks for using Lunascape.

You can use those Add-ons with the Gecko extended mode. From the menu bar, go to View > Toolbars > Gecko Toolbar. This will show the Gecko toolbar in the toolbar area. Click the Gecko icon and select "Extended Mode (Gecko)". You should be able to see the Add-ons in this view.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for the information, unfortunately that did not work.

I had tried that before, and just tried it again (and re-started Lunascape just in case) and still no icons and still no context menu entries.

Other ideas?

Thanks,

Eric

Did you install the Add-ons using Lunascape?

I have confirmed they works with the Gecko extended mode in my env. There may be something else not going well in your env, if you cannot use them in the mode..

Thanks

Yes, I installed them through Lunascape, and then when they didn't show up, I installed FireFox and installed them in FireFox to see if they worked their and they did.

Hi Eric,

Here is the screenshot. Both Add-ons are shown and working fine with Lunascape.

In the Gecko extended mode, Go to the Tools > Add-ons and make sure both Add-ons are enabled.

If you still are having trouble making them work, please let me know.

Regards,

This is strange, when I loaded Lunascape today, suddenly not only did the EverNote and Scrapbook icons and/or menu items show up, but so did the KAV icons (which has been installed for years). Don't know what changed, but now it is working.

Good to hear it is working fine in your environment.
