When adding a webpage to the favourites I have an option tab "Status" where I can choose the rendering engine that will be used on this page and other things (see attached image).

Why are these settings not always taken by the current Lunascape settings?

When surfing the internet and coming to a page I read it first. If it is not displayed correctly with the current engine I switch to the one that does its job right. If I don't want JavaScript to be enabled I disable it. I do all this before I add it to my favourites.
So it would be more user friendly if the "Status" tab showed all these presetted values and the page is also added with all these settings.

Currently I have to do this job twice: Once when visiting an interesting webpage and once when I decide to add it to the favourites.

If I am not satisfied with these settings I can still change it in the favourites afterwards. But this is mostly unnecessary.

Okay, so the screenshot is written in Deutsch (German), and I can only recognize the style, so I can't read it. I do agree, however, that it would be nice to have smart favorites (even though I imported mine from Firefox, hehe)

I'm really sorry for the "Deutsch" image, but I only have a "Deutsch" Lunascape installed. But you can find the menu there also in your localized Lunascape. I therefore added the path to the menu in the image comment: Favourites | Add To Favourites | OK | Status

And I beg your pardon for my poor English. You know, I speak "Deutsch" -- far better than English.

Just to let you know, nosecrets, I've been confirming the spec with the dev team now. I'll update you as soon as I hear from them.
