Recently -- and I don't know why -- the open-tabs indicators are jumping to the top of the toolbar area, above the label area (e.g., "Lunascape Support Forum") and the "Administrator Login" bar, though sometimes those are missing as well. Also missing are a number of toolbars that I have checked as "open"; they come back when I move the cursor up to the very top of the window, and appear in the place of the area mentioned above ("Lunascape Support Forum"). The toolbars I have checked are: Menu, Browser, Submenu, Address, Search, Link, and Quick Menu. As soon as I move the cursor down from the area showing those toolbars, they disappear and are replaced by the "Lunascape Support Forum" area.

Can anyone help me understand why this is happening, and what I can do so that all the toolbars remain visible off of time?

If it helps any, I am currently running in Trident mode (Internet Explorer). I don't recall whether the anomaly occurs in Gecko mode.

Hi Tony in New Jersey, that sounds pretty strange and I am not sure exactly what's going on.
Perhaps can you try resetting toolbar? View>Toolbars>Customize>Toolbar
Then, if you see everything you want, try locking the current toolbar by View>Toolbars>Lock Toolbars

I tried both your solutions, but neither of them allowed me to reset the toolbar. In the first one -- View/Toolbars/Customize/Toolbar -- the Toolbar window has boxes indicating which toolbars I have activated, but no way to reset them. In the second case -- View/Toolbars/Lock Toolbars -- the Lock Toolbars was already checked.

Do you have any other suggestions? It's a nuisance that I most choose between toolbars and tabs, and in the tabs mode I must scroll all the way to the top of the window to get the toolbars to show. Might this have anything to do with the fact that I am running a RoboForm toolbar at the bottom of the window, where it remains whether I am viewing tabs or toolbars?

I am running Lunascape version 5.1.5. Is there any other information I could give you that might be helpful?

Many thanks,
Tony

PS On another matter, I run a small application called WizMouse, which allows the scrolling function to be active in any open application over which the cursor is resting. (In other words, I do not have to click first.) Unfortunately, this does not always work in Lunascape; it usually works in the inset windows, such as where I am writing now, but not in the main window, where I am required instead to move the mouse to the vertical scroll bar. I have raised this question with WizMouse, but their best advice was to open the program manually rather than have it open on startup (one of the setup options). I am doing this, but to no avail in Lunascape. If you would like, you could check out WizMouse at http://www.antibody-software.com. I am using the latest version: 1.0.0.3.

In an effort to clarify my earlier query, I am attaching two screenshots. The first shows the normal Lunascape window with the appropriate tool bars at the top. But those toolbars disappear when I scroll down past the last one, and are replaced by the tabs at the top of the frame. This happens automatically; if I scroll back up to the top of the frame, the tabs disappear and the normal toolbars reappear. At no time does the Lunascape window displays the tabs and the toolbars together.

In reading over my last e-mail after it was posted, I realized that the JPEG files are in the wrong order. The ones referred to as "first" and "second" should be reversed. In other words, the initial image is of the normal Lunascape window; the image after it is of the window with just the tabs, no toolbars.

(Also, please, why was I listed as "guest"? And why did the password, which is exactly the same as I always use, get rejected with the reminder that is case-sensitive? And how come my username "Tony in New Jersey" could not be found?)

Hi Tony in New Jersey, while I am checking solutions with Japan team, I'd like you to try one thing.
Can you hit F12 and see what happens? F12 make the window to wide screen mode, so potentially that's what's happening....

In terms of forum user name etc - I believe we haven't enabled user registration at this Forum, allowing anybody to feel easy to post an item. That results in users need to actually type in the name every time. But, we will consider how the process should be down the road.
