How can I find a serach query URL? If you don't know a search query URL for the search engine you'd like to add into the search bar, try to look for it in the Website of the search engine itself.
When you cannot find search information from the Website, you can try the followins method.
- Go to the search engine you'd like to add and do a search.
(let's search a word "luna" as an example)
- Copy and paste the URL of the search results page into the URL
field. For example, if that's google, you will see http://www.google.com/search?q=luna
- Take out the search term from the address. So, it will be http://www.google.com/search?q=
in this example.
- Note: There may be cases where the step above does not work and
need to replace the search term (luna) in the URL with %s. e.g. http://www.google.com/search?q=%s
