I use Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Google Chrome but each browser has its pros and cons. Most websites that I use can only be used in Internet Explorer and Firefox, but they can be slow. Chrome is faster but is not as widely supported. Lunascape seems like a nice replacement for all three.

I have yet to try it out, but I can't wait until I do!

Keep up the nice work guys!

Hi Jayke, welcome to Lunascape support forum! And guido, I think it won't disappoint!

I'd like to comment on the questions raised by Guest here. Security is very important and there are probably more things that we have to address down the road. We'll be mindful of that.

In general, Lunascape uses the same version of Trident/IE as the IE currently installed on the computer. However, as IE8 having some issues, we currently run it as IE7 compatibility mode. You can apply updates /patches for Trident by using Windows Update as you would normally do for IE and other Windows systems.

For Gecko, we are making every effort to release updated version in about a week after Firefox releases its updates. Lunascape 5.1.5 (released in mid September) has Gecko version 1.9.1.3 (same as Firefox 3.5.3). Currently, you can check gecko and webkit version in our blog (http://lunascapebrowser.blogspot.com/) or What's new section of our website, or release notes.

I don't understand why you guys have devoted so much effort on this ..even when Google Chrome has been unable to make any mark despite all the push from Google..

Neverthless this browser looks great..I am mostly dependent on Firefox with all the required add-ons including IE and Chrome extenstions..

if this browser can support Firefox add-ons I will not not hesitate to use this one..but till that time I am with Firefox..

Thanks

Finally it has come! Thank you all for waiting.
We just released Lunascape 6.0 in beta (for English and Japanese) and in alpha (for other languages) and now you can use all the Firefox add-ons with Lunascape!
Try it out!

Hi Guest,
Have you tried Lunascape 6 (the new version) which supports most of Firefox add-ons when you select gecko engine.
Or did you mean that those add-ons you listed do not work properly?

Dear Sir, i mean those add-ons like PERSONAS.After your up date on8th Jan 2010 many Firefox addons are working except PERSONAS.Kindly Look into that.I must congratulate for developing such a browser which is working exceptionally well and better than latest Firefox.i am rather addicted to your browser.I have been trying many many browsers and discarding them.I have on many occasions removed Lunascape because of some bugs and again and again reinstalling it.I have reinstalled it on 8th Jan 2010 and found it wonderfull and working better than Firefox 3.6 and i hope i cannot remove it here after.I have decided to recommend to my friends also.I feel Lunascape is not receiving that much publicity which it deserves.Kudos to Lunascape Team.
