A prime example of a page not scrolling smoothly if the text zoom level is set above 100% is the cnet website. if the zoom level is kept at 100% the page scrolls smoothly and the CPU resources are fine. This is also a problem with firefox, and is the same within lunascape using the gecko engine. this may be a problem with the gecko rendering engine.

This scrolling problem seems to go if you use the add-on NoScript, and only allow the domain page, the scrolling is smooth no matter what size the zoom level.

hi - yeah just to let you know, i am running into more problems with the latest update, pages with veetle embedded now just crash with a run-time error, still have the scaling problem also the address font problem, also wanted lunascape to open from external links to the engine i wanted and it wont, so i am not using it until a better update comes along. Love the browser, not likee the probs. Thanks.

There really needs to be a lock icon to be able to set the default zoom level to be the same for each tab in Gecko engine. As its really annoying have to set it all the time...Surely there must be a way to set the default zoom level to the users choice and not have to keep changing it back to the desired choice of the user.
